How to Report an Account on Instagram

Go to the profile you want to report.
Click or tap the three dots in the top right corner of the profile (desktop) or the screen (mobile).
Select “Report User” (desktop) or “Report” (mobile).
Select the reason for your report.
Block or mute the user (optional).

How to Report a Post on Instagram

Click or tap the three dots on the top right corner of the post.
Select “Report Inappropriate” (desktop) or “Report” (mobile).
Select the reason for your report.
Block or mute the user (optional).

How to Report a Comment on Instagram

On desktop, hover over the comment and click on the three dots to the right;
On mobile, press and hold the comment (Android) or swipe left (iOS) and then tap the exclamation point icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Click “Report” (desktop) or “Report this comment” (mobile).
Select the reason for your report.
Block or mute the user (optional).
