These are some of the things users can do on Spotify:

- see recommended and officially curated songs

Spotify offers different free and premium plans people can subscribe to or get a free trial for:

The Importance of Streaming on Spotify

Streaming on Spotify is important for IFPI, RIAA, and global and country music charts, including Billboard and UK Official Charts.

Stream Equivalent Songs (SES)
1. Hot 100: 1 song unit = 125 premium streams = 375 ad-supported streams
2. Global 200 Excluding US: 1 song unit = 250 premium streams = 1,125 ad-supported streams
3. Global 200: 1 song unit = 200 premium streams = 900 ad-supported streams

In addition, charting and playlists on Spotify provide exposure to a bigger audience outside of an artist's fanbase. Some officially curated playlists such as those by Spotify and Filtr have hundreds of thousands and tens of millions of followers.

How to Subscribe to Spotify Premium or Premium Trial

1. Sign in to your account via web player or app.
2. Go to the Spotify Premium plans page.
3. Pick your premium plan.
4. Accomplish the required information.

How to Stream on Spotify

We recommend streaming a track on its own and then via a track-focused playlist.

1. Open the Spotify app or web player.
2. Sign in or sign up for a Premium account.
Note: We recommend making multiple accounts. Use one or more accounts per device. You can use free trial.
3. Search up the track you want to focus on (i.e., Jimin + Song Title).
4. In the results, like the track by tapping the heart next to the track title.
5. Go to “Your Library” and choose a track-focused playlist you created or liked.
6. If you do not have any playlist in “Your Library” yet:
- Create your first playlist. You may refer to the guide below.
- Search for other good track-focused playlists. Follow the playlists so they will be listed in  “Your Library”.
7. If you want to stream the track as stand-alone, go to the track's page and press the play button.
8. If you want to stream the track in a track-focused playlist, go to your library and select the playlist. Press the play button.
9. Switch playlists from time to time.
10. If you have multiple accounts, switch accounts from time to time.
11. It is widely believed that only 20 streams per track per Spotify account count toward Spotify charts and so to chart higher, make more accounts.
11. Make sure to play a long track-focused playlist at night while you are sleeping. Play a Jimin album or switch playlists as you wake up.

Notes:
- You can only download and skip tracks on both desktop and mobile with a premium account. A premium account does not guarantee that Spotify will not filter out streams. It is important to avoid bot-like behaviors to avoid higher filtering of streams.

The Importance of Streaming from Spotify's Official Playlists

Spotify makes playlists that garner hundreds of thousands to millions of followers. BTS' and the members' songs have been added to these playlists. It is important to stream the track from these Spotify playlists. If a track is among the best performers of a playlist, it will have a better chance of staying in the playlist.

The Importance of Liking a Song

Always like Jimin's songs.  These count as engagement that can influence recommendations and trending.

The Importance of Sharing a Song

Sharing the song is a priority. Jimin himself has expressed his desire for their works to reach more people. How should we share his work?

1. Share the link to the track without using shortened links (i.e., bitly).
2. Post the track not only as part of a playlist but also as a track of its own.
3. Share and embed it on social media, messaging platforms, websites, and portals.
4. Share the link or the QR code of the song in your advertisements and projects.

Sharing a song can influence its charting on Spotify Viral charts globally and in territories. This charting helps promote the song and gives it wider reach.

Introducing the song to more listeners impacts not only streaming numbers and charting. By actively promoting Jimin's song, you are helping increase the level of awareness, interest, engagement, and loyalty towards the song, Jimin's other works, and Jimin himself among fans, non-fans, and/or the general public. For example, sharing an amazing song can convert a non-fan into a casual fan, or a casual fan into a more passionate fan. Such exposure may also build or strengthen positive associations (thoughts, impressions, or beliefs of the listener) towards Jimin and his artistry.

Tips and Reminders

1. Use Spotify Premium or its discount and free trial offers.
2. Like (heart) the artist (Jimin) and the track.
3. Stream the original, remix, acoustic, and instrumental of the song. Their streams will count towards the Billboard chart.
4. Stream from big, officially curated playlists. We will share them on this page.
5. Set the volume to higher than 50%. Don't mute. You may use earphones instead.
6. Create and use multiple track-focused playlists especially during the first 3 months of the music release.
- Put a gap of at least 2 to 3 tracks between duplicate tracks in your playlist.
- Diversify your playlist. Include collaborations.
- Update your playlists at least once a week.
7. Avoid bot-like behaviors. Stream like a human.
- Don't stream simultaneously on different devices or browsers using the same account.
- Don't stream simultaneously on Stationhead and Spotify/Apple Music using the same account.
- Search the track or playlist manually.
- Avoid making a pattern in your playlist (i.e., repeating order of songs, repeating no. of fillers between focus track).
- Don't loop.
- Switch playlists from time to time. We recommend switching from your personal playlists to official playlists with huge following.
- Interact with your playlist at least once every couple of hours (i.e., search, pause, add, or remove tracks, change volume).
- Don't do the same activity (i.e., pause, replay) excessively especially in a short span of time.
- Don't do and undo then do the same activity (i.e., like and unlike) in a short span of time.
8. Don't shuffle your track-focused playlist to keep the focus on the prioritized track.
9. If you are a Spotify Premium user, you may also stream offline. These offline streams will be counted when you go online. Make sure you go online hours before the day and the week end.
10. Turn off “Autoplay” to prevent Spotify from playing their song suggestions.
- Go to  “Home” > “Settings” > “Playback”.
- Turn off “Autoplay”.
11. You can embed a track. However, make sure that autoplay is turned off. Streams from tracks on autoplay will be filtered out.
12. Share links and QR codes to the individual track and to good track-focused playlists.
13. Use online (i.e., Instagram ad) and on-ground projects (i.e., cafe, exhibit, mural) to promote the track by including the link and/or the QR code to the track.
14. If you can, change your internet connection once in a while (i.e., wifi to data, data to wifi, wifi to another wifi).

FAQs

1. How long should my playlist be?
There is no official source that states the limit for a playlist's length. However, we recommend switching to another playlist or platform from time to time, like within 3 hours unless you are sleeping.
2. How many fillers should I use in my track-focused playlist?
Put 2 to 3 fillers between tracks (with the same cover image) to avoid looping or filtering.
3. Should I add all versions of the song to my track-focused playlist?
Yes, add the remix, acoustic, and instrumental versions as their streams count towards Billboard.
4. How can I diversify my playlist?
Add Jimin's collaborations. If you decide to add filler songs by other artists, choose short songs that are 40 seconds to 2 minutes long.
5. Is there a limit for the number of streams per account?
There is no official source that stated this. However, we do recommend streaming the same track with the same cover image 20 times a day using the same account and then switching to another account. Note that this is not official and is only stemming from fans' experiment to reduce filtering. Always make sure you are streaming from different playlists. If you can, please change your internet connection from time to time as well.
