[News] "Our best achievement was entering Billboard Hot 100"

On its 13th anniversary, Joy News 24 surveyed people from the entertainment industry and BTS ranked first in the 2017 K-pop brand ranking. What are your thoughts?

Jimin: I've never even thought about this result before. It's an honor that they think of us this way.


You have many remarkable achievements (four weeks straight in Billboard 100, over 1.2 million album sales, etc.) in 2017. What does BTS think of these results and achievements?

Jimin: I thought of the relationships between our fans and our members. For us to be where we are now, it's because we know each other so well.


BTS' goal to be in Hot 100 with the release of the new album became a reality. What had been your thoughts as you've been fulfilling these one by one?

Jimin: Truthfully, I was baffled and surprised as we achieved each one of our goals. I know this is because of the overflowing love we get from our fans so I want to work harder and challenge how far we can go.


BTS is K-pop's new role model and the center of Hallyu Fever. This album, Love Yourself: Her has been loved by fans all over the world, and became an important part of K-pop history. What do you think of the success of BTS' DNA?

Jimin: ARMY. DNA.


There's not much left in 2017. Are there any news you want to share to your fans through Joy News 24?

Jimin: I think there're still lots of time before the end of this year. It will be nice to make memorable memories. Thank you for loving us and continuing to watch us. Thank you and I love you all.
