[News] "You've done a great job this year", BTS Jimin's ads were displayed in New York Times Square

BTS Jimin was on eleven screens in New York Times Square.

On the 10th, Jimin's ad was displayed on eleven screens of Nasdaq and Thomson Reuters in New York Times Square. It was for year-end cheers from his Chinese fanbase.

New York Times Square, also known as "The Intersection of the World", is located in the Triangle Zone, intersecting 42nd, 7th and Broadway streets of New York. The daily average number of pedestrians in this area is about 1.5 million.

Because the promotion is greatly effective, the advertising cost is really high at around a hundred thousand dollars.

K-pop groups such as EXO, BTS, Twice and Wanna One had ads displayed for their birthdays or anniversaries but this one drew attention because the purpose was to congratulate Jimin for doing a great job this year.

The fanbase that sponsored this project said they wanted to promote Jimin in United States and also to thank Jimin for his remarkable activities in 2017.

Meanwhile, from (December) 8th to 10th, in Seoul Guryogu Gocheok Sky Dome, BTS concluded their three-day concert "Live Trilogy Episode III Wings Tour Final."
