Once again, BTS Jimin shines as the "Spotify King."

On December 6th, Jimin's solo song "Filter" surpassed 340 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music platform. It set new records as the fastest Korean B-side, Korean male solo, and Korean non-promoted solo to achieve this.

As of November 29, "Filter" had spent 634 days on Daily Top Songs and 91 weeks on Weekly Top Songs of Spotify Korea—solidifying its long-term box office success as the longest-charting song ever after BTS' "Dynamite" and "Boy With Luv" and realizing Jimin's prowess in digital music as a solo artist.

On the same day, #SpotifyWrapped, the platform's yearend review, revealed "Filter" ranked No. 18 on Spotify Korea's Top Tracks of 2022. It is Korea's most streamed non-promoted song and song released in 2020 this year.

Meanwhile, on Spotify Global's Top Streamed K-Pop Tracks of 2022, "Filter" ranked No. 36 as the only solo and the only B-side released in 2020 on the chart. Earlier, it ranked No. 11 in 2020 and No. 16 in 2021.

When "Filter" was released on February 21, 2020, it made the biggest day streams ever for a Korean solo song, ranked No. 33 on Spotify Global Top Songs, and entered 54 countries and regions' Top Songs charts—setting new records for a Korean solo song debut.

On February 27, 2020, just six days after its release, the song surpassed 10 million streams—the fastest for a Korean solo. It went on to becoming the fastest Korean male solo and Korean solo B-side to achieve 100 million streams on Spotify, in 262 days.

Moreover, it achieved 200 million streams in 573 days—a feat BTS' "IDOL" made in 834 days—and became the group's 10th fastest song to reach this milestone. In June, the song surpassed 300 million streams, setting new records as the fastest Korean B-side, Korean male solo, and Korean solo B-side.

Jimin is making history for K-pop solo songs every moment through "Filter," which has been showing off its undiminished popularity even without any promotion since its release. People are looking forward to Jimin's upcoming album to make remarkable achievements exceeding this.
