[Star News] BTS Jimin's "Filter" Tops Melon's 2020 Solo Chart, "FIlter's Year"

BTS Jimin's solo song 'Filter' has created a global music sensation, and had a shining year with the best performance among BTS's solo songs on domestic and international music charts. Released on February 21, 2020.



"Filter" also set a record as the best-rated solo song in the group in 2020, receiving 154,586 likes. "Friends" ranked 85th and "Filter" ranked 97th on the Gaon Yearend Chart.

Filter" kicked off 2021 with a bang, becoming the group's first and only song to reach 200,000 listens on the global music search app Shazam on the 1st. With this, Jimin became the first and only BTS member to have both "Intro: Serendipity" and "Filter" surpass 200,000 listens on Shazam.



Also, among the three solo songs officially included in BTS albums (Filter, Intro: Serendipity, and Lie), along with his self-produced song "Promise," which set the highest streaming record on SoundCloud, Jimin is the only member of the group to have four solo songs surpass 100,000 shazams.
