BTS's Jimin expressed a touching wish, saying he wants to meet fans and perform just once in the new year.

BTS sent their New Year's greetings on January 1st through their official YouTube channel, Bangtan TV, to welcome the Year of the Ox (辛丑年) of 2021.

Starting with an adorable greeting while waving a cake topper that read, "2021 Be Happy," Jimin recalled the past when he and the members had solemnly agreed to "burn down the stage and tour hard in 2020."

He continued, "I welcomed 2020 with excitement, fear, and a heavy heart, and it was hard to accept and I didn't know what to do. It was a year where I put a lot of effort into trying to stay focused." He also revealed how difficult it was to accept the cancellation of the concert.

However, he said, "I think it must have been hard not only for us, but also for students, medical staff, and everyone in any profession. You've all worked so hard," and conveyed his condolences and apologies for not being able to meet fans in person and talk to them.

Jimin said, "I hope we can all be a little more careful so that better times can come soon. In 2021, I want to meet you all just once and perform. I don't care about any other results, I just want to meet you once," and showed his endless longing for ARMY, making people emotional.

Finally, he said, "I hope you all stay healthy and happy until then. Thank you so much for 2020, and I hope we can all spend a good year together in 21. Be happy," showing off his clever sense to welcome the Year of the Ox and wishing fans health and happiness.

Fans who heard Jimin's touching New Year's greetings reacted with, "It really makes me cry when he says he just wants to meet fans once and perform", "His New Year's greetings that show how much he misses his fans are so touching", "He must be having a hard time himself, but he worries about his fans first", "Jimin oppa always moves us with his sincere words".
