[Survey] Jimin ranks 7th in Gallup Korea's Favorite Idols of 2017

Jimin ranks 7th in Gallup Korea's Favorite Idols of 2017, a survey of South Korean males and females from ages 13 to 29.

Jimin was ranked 1st by 13 to 18 year-old females, 10th by 13 to 18 year-old males, and 5th by 19 to 29 year-old females.

The Favorite Idol Survey 2017 asked, "Which idol groups or idol singers promoting as solo do you like the most? If it is a group, tell us your three favorite members. Pick one you like the most and two more."

Jimin's ranking went up from 2016 to 2017:

• Overall -- from 14th to 7th
• 13 to 18 year-old females -- from 5th to 1st
• 19 to 29 year-old females -- from 9th to 5th
• 13 to 18 year-old males -- 10th (new)

Meanwhile, BTS ranked 4th just behind IU, Twice and Jang Yun Jeong. This was the highest place ever achieved by a Korean male artist in this survey.

Gallup Korea is a research company that conducts public opinion surveys, such as, presidential elections surveys. This has a reliability of 95 percent.
