Vietnam’s soccer hero ‘Park Hangseo Magic’ has shown immense love for Korea among the Vietnamese. Meanwhile, love for BTS Jimin is also very hot among Vietnamese Jimin fans. The active expansion of sports and K-pop overseas is raising Korea's status and leading to great interest in Korean culture.

As if to prove this, Vietnamese fans of BTS Jimin, who is leading the Korean Wave, made a large Chimmy lantern inspired by Jimin's character Chimmy for Vietnam's unique event in September. Many people participated in and marched on the streets.

Vietnam's Mid-Autumn Festival is close to Children's Day, and on this day, children spend a happy time eating snacks and candies to their heart's content and enjoying various events such as mask and dragon dances, and lotus lanterns with their parents. BTS Jimin's popularity and the interest in him were naturally reflected in the country's custom.

On Jimin's birthday, Vietnamese fans voluntarily made touching goods deed such as helping less privileged children and providing aid to animal protection group, and rolled out building and YouTube advertisements, showing enthusiasm and passion as much as other countries abroad.
