Jimin ranked first with a total of 2,508 votes in the voting for the "K-pop Male Idol Popularity Voting 2024" by Japanese Hallyu outlet Danmee. With this, Jimin achieves No. 1 for two consecutive years since 2023, demonstrating his unwavering popularity in the country.
Earlier, Jimin also ranked No. 1 in the "November K-pop Male Idol Popularity Voting" and set a new record for topping the voting for a total of 21 consecutive months, including the "King of Kings Match."
The voting, which was conducted to convey the voice of K-pop fans, is limited to one vote per person to ensure fair voting. It was done by selecting 28 K-pop male idols who are currently receiving great attention based on their activity index and brand index in Korea (provided by the Brand Reputation Index), monthly mentions on X (formerly Twitter), and music videos related to Danmee.
On Billboard Japan dated January 8th, Jimin continues his extraordinary popularity with "Who" at No. 70 on Hot 100 and No. 47 on Streaming Songs Chart, Jimin at No. 53 on Artist 100, and MUSE at No. 4 on Hot Albums.
