BTS Jimin has set another new record on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, and has shown off his global music prowess.

Jimin's second solo album MUSE title track "Who" surpassed 1.3 billion streams on Spotify on January 7. This is an amazing achievement in only 171 days since its release, the fastest for a song by an Asian artist.

This is two days faster than the world's fastest male solo song, set by Harry Styles at 173 days swith "As It Was." It is also the fourth fastest in Spotify history, following "Die With A Smile" by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, "Birds of a Feather" by Billie Eilish, and "Espresso" by Sabrina Carpenter.

Prior to this, Jimin's first album FACE title track "Like Crazy" achieved 1.3 billion streams on Spotify in October last year, making him the first and only Korean solo artist to have two solo songs with over 1.3 billion streams on Spotify.

Meanwhile, "Who," released on July 19, 2023, has been continuing its long-running popularity, rocking the world for more than five months without any collaboration with famous Western artists, promotions, or official activities. The interlude song "Interlude: Showtime" also achieved 50 million streams on the 6th thus all tracks from MUSE have now reached this milestone.

It is not only "Who." The other songs from the album have been receiving love from listeners worldwide. The album surpassed a total of 2.2 billion streams in just 171 days, the fastest ever for a Korean solo album on Spotify. It is the second most streamed Korean solo album after FACE, which recorded about 2.5 billion streams.
