BTS Jimin's second solo album title track "Who" added another record for a K-pop solo song in Canada.

"Who" received a Platinum Single Certification from Music Canada (formerly The Canadian Recording Industry Association) on January 17.

It has sold over 80,000 units in only six months since its release on July 19 last year, earning Platinum Certification. Music Canada grants certification based on sales volume, which includes the number of digital downloads, streams, and physical single sales. For singles, the certification is classified as Gold (40,000 or more), Platinum (80,000 or more), and Double Platinum (160,000 or more).

Previously, Jimin received Platinum Certification from Music Canada for "Like Crazy," the title track of his first solo album FACE. It became the first Platinum Certification for a Korean solo song since Psy's "Gangnam Style."

Following "Like Crazy," Jimin received Music Canada Platinum Certification for "Who," making him the first and only Korean artist to receive multiple Music Canada Platinum Certifications with two solo songs without collaborations.

Meanwhile, Jimin sold more than 2 million units in the US with "Like Crazy" and "Who," making him the first and only K-pop soloist in history to have two Platinum Certifications in the US from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

In addition, "Who" is demonstrating its popularity in the English-speaking world as it achieved 200,000 units of sales in the UK in November 2024, making Jimin the fastest K-soloist to receive a BRIT Silver Certification from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
