[News] BTS Jimin ranks #1 in Global Popularity Vote for 179 weeks.. "Powerful Fandom"

BTS Jimin has proven his unwavering popularity in 2025 by breaking another weekly ranking record in the global popularity vote.

Jimin topped the weekly ranking for the second week of January on KDOL, a global popular voting platform for K-pop idols, receiving 43,121,055 hearts. It was his 179th weekly No. 1 in the ranking.

Jimin is currently the top K-pop artist. He has remained No. 1 in the Hall of Fame by a wide margin of more than 5.4 billion versus No. 2, with 17,761,518,872 cumulative votes.

As of January 17, Jimin has maintained his nine Hall of Fame crowns which are namely, most cumulative votes (17,761,518,872), most daily first place wins (1,191), most weekly first place wins (179), most monthly first place wins (39), most daily votes (2,686,681,922), most weekly votes (2,749,178,562), most monthly votes (3,066,876,445), most birthday votes (2,686,681,922), and longest daily first place winning streak (61 days). 

KDOL, a global K-pop idol popularity voting service app where people can vote from all over the world. It reflects 100% of the user votes from around the world, including the US, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Korea, and tallies them in real time. The cumulative votes every midnight in Korean time are combined for the daily, weekly, and monthly rankings while the total votes are computed for the Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, Jimin's advertisement from winning KDOL November ranking can be seen at the Sadang Station in the Seoul Subway until January 17.
