American business magazine Forbes focused on BTS Jimin's solo song 'Promise'.



On the 3rd (local time), Forbes published an article titled, "BTS Jimin's solo song 'Promise' debuts with the highest 24-hour debut on SoundCloud."

Forbes reported, "After checking with SoundCloud, we confirmed that Jimin's 'Promise' has broken the SoundCloud 24-hour record. 'Promise' has achieved 8.5 million streams in 24 hours." The article also mentioned, "According to SoundCloud, 'Promise' has surpassed the 24-hour record set by Drake's 'Duppy Freestyle' of 3.6 million streams in May."

Currently, 'Promise' has achieved 18 million streams in just five days since its release on SoundCloud and has ranked first on the Top 50 charts in eight countries, including the United States, recording the shortest amount of streams among BTS songs.

With only the song released without any promotion, major foreign media outlets such as Forbes, Billboard, MTV, and the New York Times are reporting on "Promise," showing explosive interest.
