Starting with Twitter's main account, about 60 official overseas accounts, including Billboard, Hollywood Life, US Weekly, NME, Teen Vogue, and other overseas media, entertainment magazines, US radio, US music charts, famous US TV broadcasts and moderators, K-pop magazines, and musicians were celebrating Jimin's first solo song "Promise."

It showed interest in the release of Jimin's solo song, demonstrating Jimin's impact which breaks down the high barriers of US radio. The introduction and broadcast of "Promise" on US radio accounts, which are difficult for K-pop to break through, clearly show the global anticipation for BTS Jimin's solo music.

In addition, famous US talk show hosts Jimmy Fallon and Denny Directo quickly congratulated Jimin on the release of his solo song. The U.S. Walmart, which owns a total of 4,761 stores, drew attention by posting that it would play Jimin's "Promise" at stores nationwide, while the U.S. retail industry "Target" also expressed congratulations and great interest in Jimin's solo song. Elite Daily editor-in-chief of the U.S. also expressed expectations in the future by posting, "Jimin looks forward to more solo projects in the future."

BTS Jimin's first self-composed song, "Promise," is addictive with Jimin's unique, delicate and emotional vocals on acoustic guitar. The variations of vocal color are expressed differently, exerting a rich sense of sophisticated pop ballad, as well as the ability to write and compose songs at once.

Jimin said about his New Year's goal, "First of all, I think it would be great to have another song with my thoughts. I hope there are more opportunities to meet you than this year. My biggest goal is to exert good influence and show you a good performance in such a place."
