Previously, the most streamed K-pop solo song on Spotify was "Like Crazy," the
title track of Jimin's first solo album FACE. Once again, Jimin lives up to
the saying, "Jimin breaks Jimin's record," showcasing his status as a global
music powerhouse.
Jimin is the first and only Korean solo artist to have two songs that have
achieved over 1.3 billion streams on Spotify. As of January 15, "Who" has
recorded 1,342,416,295 streams while "Like Crazy" has recorded 1,324,240,635
streams. Jimin achieved these feats as a solo artist without collaborating
with other famous global artists.
"Who" also holds the record of the longest-charting song by a Korean act in the
top 10 of Spotify Global Daily Top Songs. Since release, it has not missed the
No. 1 spot on Spotify South Korea Daily Top Songs.
Meanwhile, Jimin, who is dominating Spotify as a leading K-pop artist, has
surpassed 6 billion streams, with 34 songs in just two years and nine months
since his individual profile was created on January 11, 2022 ("With You," Jimin's first song on the platform, was released on April 24, 2022).
Jimin's solo songs without any collaborations have also surpassed a whopping
4.8 billion streams, making him the first and only K-pop solo artist to
achieve this feat.
