Billboard highlighted the unprecedented record set by BTS's Jimin in the K-pop music industry.

On the 21st, Billboard, an American music media outlet, revisited "Like Crazy," the title track of Jimin's first solo album FACE, achieving No. 1 in an article about non-English songs that entered the Top 10 of the main song chart Hot 100.

In the 67-year history of Billboard, a total of 39 non-English songs have entered the Top 10 of Hot 100. Among them, 10 reached No. 1 and of those, only three are in Korean — BTS' "Life Goes On," BTS and Coldplay's collaboration "My Universe," and Jimin's "Like Crazy."
With this song, Jimin became the first Korean solo artist to reach No. 1 on Hot 100. He raised the status of his group BTS, which became the first group to have at least six No. 1's and at least one member to top the chart since The Beatles and The Supremes.
Since then, the American media outlet SINGERSROOM ranked Jimin No. 1 on the "Top 20 Famous Singers in Korea." He was selected by Interview 365 in the 33rd "Good People Best 10" following Dr. Lee Jong-cheol, Ko Hyun-mi and the late Kim Baek-bong. He was also mentioned in the New York Times feature "20 Things that Happened for the First Time in 2023," receiving global attention befitting the establishment of this great history.
Meanwhile, Jimin had topped both Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Artist 100. Only nine Korean artists have reached the top spot of Artist 100 and Jimin is the only solo artist among them, proudly leaving his mark that is unprecedented for Korean soloists.
